Defibrillator Electrode Inservice Videos

At Nissha Medical Technologies, I joined the marketing team as a graphic design intern. I developed internal and external communications. I created many posters to communicate events and messages throughout the company and logos to use in internal committees and awards. Externally, I edited literature, developed videos, and website assets.

At Nissha, I was tasked with filming, editing, and creating motion graphics for a defibrillator inservice video. This video would be used by sales representatives to introduce the product to consumers. I worked alongside the product marketing team to gather the correct information to be displayed in the video. While working on this project I gained valuable knowledge on collaborating with a product marketing team as well as improving my skills in video editing and motion graphics.

POSTERS & TV SLIDES

I created many posters and TV slides at Nissha. These designs were used for internal communications therefore they didn't need to follow the brand guide. I was able to expand on my creative skills and gain skills within graphic design through practice. This allowed me to have lots of fun creating unique eye-catching designs to deliver the importance of the message.

NEWSLETTER

While at Nissha, my mentor left to follow another career opportunity. This was a challenge for me. I was without a graphic design team to help guide me along. Although it was a challenge, I worked with the others on the marketing team to take on some of the tasks. I was asked to create the monthly newsletter for Nissha. I looked back on past issues and developed the design based off of those. This letter was particularly challenging as the company gives employees one week to submit information to the design then one week for me to create a completed design. Through lots of planning and communication I was able to create the newsletter successfully in the allotted time.

LITERATURE EDITS

At Nissha, I worked with the product marketing team to help update their literature. The team communicated the needed changes in the literature and I executed them. I created charts and took new product images as needed.

DEFIBRILLATOR VIDEO GRAPHICS

While making the defibrillator inservice video, I was asked to create graphics that would follow the audio and a visual. I created sets of graphics to maintain a consistent style in Illustrator, then I split up the layers and moved the graphics to After Effects to time and animate them with the audio. The footage and audio was put together in Premiere Pro then into After Effects to add in the graphics. The footage was shot on a small camera using a gimbal to help with stability. I worked with another intern from the product marketing team to gather the product samples then record the needed footage. During this process I learned about gathering footage for a video, how to edit clips in Premiere Pro such as stabilization and transitions, working with audio, using graphics in After Effects, and file organization.
