ABOUT ME

HI, I'M ABBY SUPLICKI

I am from Buffalo, New York. I currently study New Media Design at Rochester Institute of Technology with a minor in digital business and an immersion in advertising and public relations. I've always known from a young age I wanted to do something creative or artistic with my life. I couldn't decided between animation or graphic design. When I heard about New Media Design I knew that was right for me. I love the blend between technology and art and the wide range of skills I have learned through this program and my experiance. Outside of class, I still enjoy being crafty. I paint, crochet, sew and more.

Besides art, I have a great passion for reptiles, specifically snakes. I have three snakes. One is a pink cornsnake named Spider that travels between RIT and home with me. The others are a ball python named Banana and a california king snake name Morris. My other passion is cars. I have dreamed of owning a corvette since I was young and hope to accive that goal, but I currently drive a modified Volkswagen GLI Fahrenheit that I adore. I take my car to shows and drag races at Lancaster Motoplex for fun. I love to combine my work with my hobbies as much as I already enjoy what I do, combining both hardly feels like work. I have designed logos for reptile breeders and created my own car related content using my design skills. I hope to one day work as a UI/UX designer for a car manufacturer. I have taken extra classes to expand my knowledge and practice of 3D modeling as well to learn how to integrate 3D into interactive designs. I am very passionate about my career and can't wait to gain more experiance throughout my life.
